Country churchyard

    Ah, my kind of wandering place, Dave. Well captured too. Caroline's grave stone looks relatively new.

    Thank you Rob. The vicar's garden I took some pics in last week is next door.
    That is a fairly new stone; she was a local doctor, passed away in 2008.

    That's nice, Dave.
    I have been fascinated by these places ever since I was shown, by a teacher, a footpath paved with the unmarked (or worn down) gravesones of paupers leading down a twitten (what a fantastic word that is!) close to the churchyard back home in Sussex. My wife and I recently spent a few hours in the big graveyard here in Lancaster, photographing the sights. Perhaps I'll post some of the images elsewhere later.

    Thanks Chris, they are interesting places, the older and more rural the better.
