Local footbridge

Well, it is no Queensferry bridge, but it took lot of engineering to make it wheelchair accessable.

 

What a super study, Dave. That first composition, while unusual, is very effective I think.

 

Thank you Pete. It is a huge thing by local scale, hard to know what to "do" with it photographically.

I like the way they used rough sawn planks for the shuttering, leaving the woodgrain imprint in the concrete. Same technique as used in the Royal Festival Hall.

 

You are right, Dave: it ain't no Forth Bridge, but it's just as useful and photogenic, as you have proved.
