Remnant Hedge - Galgate, Lancashire
Wonderfully framed, Chris. And an interesting subject if I understand the title correctly.
Very, very pleased with this one, Pete.
Like most of my photos, I don't claim any prowess in the execution, but feel fortunate to be able to document something that interests me.
I loved the way that both the shadow on the field and the architecture of the wood I was standing on the edge of echoed the profile of the hedge. The browse line running parallel with the horizon from the sheep eating the shoots just reinforces the scene.
Very nice, Chris. So, wheres the hedge?
It's just to the east of Galgate, Lancashire. Right here, in fact...
The composition is very good, beautiful, tranquill scene.
