Right across from our house, about 6.30am, Sunday morning.
Those parallel bars look a bit low to me!
What a great view. What are the roundels?
That's fantastic, Rob. It makes me feel cold, though!
The parallel bars are a fast-food outlet for those on a staple diet
The roundels are mosaics of the famous bridge.
The shop on the left sells American sweets - all sugar and palm oil. Thankfully they have not survived Covid, and the place is up for sale. The shop on the right is a physio surgery. The space we are looking through in between used to be a pub, until it one day exploded! I don't know why, but I'm grateful it did. And, no, it wasn't me! LONG before we moved here.
Chris, it was surprisingly warm for 6.30 am. I just had a tee-shirt on, jeans and my slippers!
That's what I like to see, forward-planning!
The Boathouse Steps that lead to...? Really nice shot.
No sign of a boathouse...probably got caught up in the explosion.
That is a wonderfully moody shot.
Had to get up early for it, though. Not to be repeated!
Great shot Rob, the mist enhances that old time street light.
Cheers, Wes. It took me ages to get enough mist from an old dilapidated theatre machine!
A lazy mist then. Typical of a Scotsman of your age!
Bwahaha excellent Rob, I've now got a mental image of an eccentric Scotsman powering some ancient fog maker from behind the house on the right. Akin to something from a Discworld novel.
Oh, I didn't realise you were such close friends!
Whatever it takes for the shot
