Critique Welcomed The Heid

    The heid is actually called Echo. It's a sculpture by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa located in Seattle's Olympic Sculpture Park. The Spanish word for "head" is cabeza. But I don't know if there is a Spanish word for heid. I don't think it's echo.

    Infrared with Sigma Quattro SD, Sigma 30/1.4 and Hoya R72 filter.

    Good shots. It's an interesting sculpture, reminding me of the surrealist paintings of Giorgio de Chirico...

    Great study, Brian. And the first is wonderfully other-worldly. The sculpture certainly seems to lend itself well to IR (and portrait format). The shot from behind is very effective indeed.

    That works very well in IR, the first one especially. The scale reminds me of the huge statues in Egypt.
