Haha. That's quite amusing. That fallen branch would have got my attention too. Fun shot.

 

And that is what attracted mine and the fact that its curvature matched the vent. And then after, I saw what was really going on!

 

Why is the other vent so disinterested...aloof, even? That is the real question here.

 

I thought I heard someone say, "Stop staring!", but I couldn't see who!

 

That is a good one, the vents look so totally out of place.
Love the contrast between metal and trees, you have got the lighting spot on.
