    On first look I was thinking: nice comp, colours, etc, but felt there was something missing.

    On second look I'm thinking: Wait a minute, is that really a post box? Is it a bin? So there is some humour here. That is the missing something, or I'm completely outwith any cultural reference.

    It really is a mail box - they have these old R2D2 looking things bolted to the sidewalk.

    I just liked the comp and lighting - something ordinary in plain sight that made for an interesting pic

    still a great shot chris. at this rate we'll have to start calling you midas, everything you touch turns to kodak gold.

    @Rob MacKillop it's our version of a tardis. you have police boxes, we just go postal.
