Classic Victorian station architecture. The wide angle shows it off very well. The lines and lighting in the first one are just beautiful, I am reminded of a flower opening up to the sun. Great set.
It's a beautiful structure, Dave. As you walk through the entrance, your mind flits through the possibilities of what it is being presented with...tropical gardens?...funfair ride?...railway station...? They all seem plausible! Someone asked me if the first image had been taken with a fish-eye and I said that a fish-eye would have reduced the effect and straightened the whole thing out!
Thank Pete. It's well worth a visit if you ever get the chance. We had a few days on the Isle of Bute and the station is at the ferry landing, so we spent a while in there when waiting for our sailing.
