Thanks Pete...she is a rather enigmatic 2 year old...! Im doing ok, all things considered. Various treatments have certainly taken their toll, but the invader has recently been declared "stable", which is positive. Still have left hand mobility issues, so might have to downsize...

Happy New Year to one and all..... I'm thinking that 200mm is my new 135mm, since the demise of my beloved Jupiter11-a.... Canon 5D, Canon 200f2.8 L Given some Kodak Gold treatment in Lightroom.

The third one in the first set is very nice Tony...so sharp...you can almost smell the fish on his/her breath...

Interesting pair...are they doing it for money, or are they just street artists looking for coins...???

Thanks folks...beginning to get to grips with this 200mm...(it's not the Jupiter 135, but it'll suffice...:rolleyes:)

Someone famous once said, "never work with children and animals"...how true, they never stay still for longer than a nano-second...!!! First at 200mm, second at 50mm...

The new models probably do retail for around that bracket...but mine is a lowly Mk.0 which I picked up for a couple of hundred... ...after all, I'm a Fifer....:rolleyes:

Whilst at Gartmorn Dam at the beginning of the week, spotted this heron landing on a dead tree just as dusk was falling... "Old Nog" was the name given to this bird in "Tarka the Otter" by Henry Williamson which we read at school and, for some reason, it has stuck in my head ever since...

Nice...I'm a big geeky and check these contrails to see where these flights come from and where they're heading....:rolleyes:
