These 2 shots are of the Peace Bridge (which crosses the Bow River to downtown Calgary) taken on Monday. We've had almost 2 weeks of minus 20 to 30 C weather (minus 35 with wind chill) and a crud load of snow. Tuesday was only minus 15 C so I ventured outside for a few a shots.

Nice postcard like shots Keith. It is as cold as it looks. ;)

really like the comp. on the first. the bright red bridge really pops out against the snow and gloom.

Super stuff Keith. I especially like the first for the composition and I like overall the illustration-like quality of the images.

Agree - very good postcard feel to #2

#1 is wonderful, with the red popping against the snow - I do see a 16:9 crop though, with the riverbank intersecting the bottom left corner of the crop - what do you think?

Man, you were brave to go out in those conditions - looks FREEZING!

Really really want to go. Watching the floods this summer showed me how green the city really is. Really I miss Canada.
