All I can Say Dan is it was worth every minute of the wait. Stunning that's all I can say.
Tree is not bad either
So, the tree's on the, er, right then, yes?!
Cracking shot Dan. Nicely foreboding. And top marks for actually going out and taking a picture rather than raiding the hard drive!
Yeah you guys! Take a leaf out of my book!! Get your bottoms outside!
To be honest, I only took the Fuj and a tripod..... And at that time of the morning it was certainly worth the downsized gear.
Really liking this thread, can't believe how many people have taken photos of trees..... They must be everywhere!!
what a brilliant thread - some real stunners
Here's one from Arizona - In Oak Creek Canyon
Nice. Is that a lonesome pine Chris?
Where she carved her name and I carved mine, Pete
I thought as much!
Haha. Very nice, Chris. I've been waiting for you for this thread. Worth the wait!
That first is bloody amazing! Although it does have too many trees in it, but I'll let you off, as it is so bloody amazing!
i don't know if this will be upsetting or not but i took and edited the first shot on my iphone whilst standing in the river
Now, if you had an assistant…
Super stuff Davie.
they could wait downstream and fish you out!
If I had an assistant i'd send them into the river and i'd have a remote control shutter and view screen
Single tree by Peter McCullough Photography, on Flickr
And a technician you didn't know the name of!
And another superb 'entry'. As Chris etc says, what a great thread this has turned out to be.
Classic shot, Peter! Welcome to the thread!
