For some reason I got up at 04.30am yesterday to catch the sunrise down at Clevedon Pier, around an hour and a half from me. Great to see the coast again - for someone who was born and bred in the Midlands, I love the coast!

    Fujifilm X-H1 & 16-55mm f2.8 together with a CPL and 10 stop filter.

They do have a sleepy feel to them, Dave. Worth getting up for.

The milk-white sea (sounds like a Patrick O'Brien novel) is a very nice effect in the second photo. I like the placid feel both photos evoke. In short, I'm glad you were up at 4:30 am to get these pics, Dave. :)

A fine pair of morning views. I like the datails in the peir, it looks more refined and graceful than the usual structure of most peirs.

A fine pair indeed and especially like the stillness in the first.
