No problem and really sorry to hear about the microphone.
I really like Michael Freeman's books and just in case I have incorrectly commented his work, I will quote what he said.
Following a few paragraphs he continues
It's a beautiful book and I hope to spend more time studying it.
Thanks Guys.
I have just been reading how challenging it is to compose for square frames.(Michael Freeman's - The Photographer's Eye).
OK for portraits and structures which lend itself to a square format.
Thanks everyone for your comments. I took the plunge and ordered a mint minus Rolleiflex T version K8 T2.
It's the version which does not have a light metre. The T model is the poor man's version and sits between a Rolleicord and the more expensive Rolleiflex F. I hope to take delivery early...
Currently I shoot digital ( 5 year old Nikon D80) with the very occasional film using a Voigtlander Vito (purchased in mint- condition) and Nikon FE (purchased in mint- condition). I love the feel and operation of the Vito B as well as the Nikon FE. I do not have a darkroom but eventually hope...
Thanks Larry for a great tutorial. I only discovered ACR a few weeks ago following the purchase of a book - Digital Darkroom by Harold Davies. Now I use ACR all the time. I would love to see a tutorial on using the Tools within ACR.
One point of feedback concerning your tutorial is that I did...

Great thread Hamish and excellent photos of the lens interior.
I am slowly accumulating tools for lens repair.
One thing however, when I activated the Pentax link the warning from Google appeared.

Which was the SP 90mm shot?
Glen.
Wonderful shots.
I'm curious to know which one used the Tamron SP90mm macro?
I have got this lens but can never get anything approaching yours.
I like the look of the Fuji and Nikon EM.
I'm beginning to get envious.
Another addition to the baby Vito B is the Vito CL shown below.

Thanks for the Wiki link Larry.
I use Wikipedia a great deal but for some reason it never showed up in my initial searches.
Since I have lot of film to use I will do some experimentation with the FE.
Does the above quote mean that a small angular rotation of the focus ring produces a large change in focus?
So an ideal lens would have a small change in focus for a large angular rotation?
I am trying to update my knowledge concerning "photo language".
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the link David - I missed that one!
You are correct Hamish - and thanks for pointing this out.
Yesterday, I checked out a 180mm 2.8 at my local used camera store in Camden and he wanted £474 for it.!
I will revisit the 135 mm 2.8 Ais again.
My preference is to go for good primes...
