Critique Welcomed Surgery in progress — Do not enter

Interesting...in the "Locations" category, where I placed my recent post, the only choices allowed are (No prefix) and Alice. I doubt Alice would be happy if I used her as a critique indicator! 🤣

BTW, how do you add the "critique welcomed" notation to your post title?

Critique Welcomed Surgery in progress — Do not enter

The title proposed a scenario that did not occur to me when I looked at the photo. Well seen! Regarding nind-denoise, which I have not tried yet, I'm not sure whether I prefer the photo with or without it. You were actually there on the scene...did the real paintings have the level of clarity...

    A visit to Haida Gwaii

I hadn't heard of the Peter Iredale before. There's a little more of it left!

    A visit to Haida Gwaii

In May, I went on a week-long photo workshop in Haida Gwaii, led by Viktoria Haack and Monika Deviat. I already had my eye on Haida Gwaii as a destination I would like to visit, and this made for a unique opportunity. It turned out to be much more than a beautiful location...it was a...

    Retired and enjoying it

I'm about 80 when I wake up, but about 50 a couple of coffees later. My birth certificate has its own opinions.

If You Dont Like Somebodies Uploaded Photo

Well, I had a week up in Haida Gwaii (an archipelago off the west coast of British Columbia) on a photo workshop, which was beyond amazing. Truly life-altering. If you ever get an opportunity to go there, take it! Then I came back to work life reality, and I've had the camera in my hands for...

If You Dont Like Somebodies Uploaded Photo

On the original topic of the poll, I think everything depends on whether the OP requested constructive criticism. If they didn't, then the yap stays shut. Full stop. If they did, then the key word is "constructive". It's OK to say "if you cropped here, you could get rid of such-and-such...

    New film simulation software

Tony, that's a bunch of thoughts in only a few lines! My understanding of the project being discussed on pixls.us is that the project is attempting to model in detail what goes on with film, with the intent of bringing what people love about film to digital photos. I believe the project is free...

    New film simulation software

I am not referring to the command dials, but rather the dedicated dials on the top of the body. For instance, on your X-T5, you have (from left to right) ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation. On my X-T20, I have drive mode, shutter speed and exposure compensation. Some new models such...
