No, Stan, my left eye is only sharp at close distance. I have been informed that it can't be mended. I am, however, in doubt about that. But it works to my content, sort of.

I have been in the same situation and now my eyesight is a Hawk's vision on my right and my left, they made a mistake and the surgeon took an hour to reduce it to a reading glasses vision. But that makes it quite good. No reading glasses are needed unless the writing is too small. 😁
