I like that a lot. Composition, tone, very atmospheric.

The more I looked the more I liked the grain in the first. It gives it a timeless quality and complements the age of the building. It took a while. Maybe I am getting slower with each passing year! I empathise with you on the holding the camera steady!

In fairness Ivar, my phone is a Sony Xperia Pro-i. Effectively the Sony RX-100 sensor, using 12MP of the 20MP 1" available, and a 24mm equivalent Zeiss glass lens. It also has a fairly comprehensive software package very similar to the Sony mirrorless cameras. If only I knew how to use it...

Thank you Brian. A 100 Pilot Whales beached in WA last week. Some were rescued only to beach themselves again. I understand the comparison.

No shots of just the boats. I found I preferred the larger backdrop as the boats themselves did not catch my eye in the same way. Also the rest of the area was pretty cluttered.
