Thank you Beth. A long walk of about 200 metres! Staying with friends living near the beach has benefits!

A bank of clouds obscure the sunrise. You wander if it was worth the early rise and 5 minute walk from a friends house to the beach! Narrawallee Sunrise by Milan Vjestica, on Flickr

The water looks more toxic than is is due to very bright sunlight hitting the algae. There may also be some colour tinge as I shot these with my phone!

    Terraces Sunset

Taken in Port Villa, Vanuatu. The resort is closed due to the earthquake in December 2024. The pool is still maintained and useable. There is even a working phone line to the property next door so you can order drinks! Very tame Urbex when you have permission. Terraces Sunset_ARG3196 by Milan...

Mona Vale Jan 2025 by Milan Vjestica, on Flickr I have not been using my camera much in the last year. Work gets in the way of many things! I had some time off over the New Year and thought I would go and watch the sunrise. Ten minutes before this it did not look promising! I even got home for...

Thanks Pete, When you get there early and grab a shot between downpours! It helps that the area was gated and I managed to pass the lens between the bars of the gate.

Thank you Rob. I grew up in Oxford so sometimes it is nice to go back and see things from a different perspective.
