The mask gives it novelty value - I'm never sure about that sort of thing, with a "natural" face instead this could be a photo to treasure I think.

A vertical or even square crop might work, as the sides of the photo don't contain much detail and this might bring out more of the interesting part. It might not work though.

It's a lovely view though, the higgledy piggledy boats in the foreground are strong visual interest and contrast well with the more regular formation of houses on the hill behind.

No 2 is definitely my favourite, I'm never quite sure about shots like this with virtually no "subject", but this one works well with the hill interrupting the horizon. Great texture and contrast, too.
