13 and 14

Nice Rob. The S-curve of the pavement in 14 provides a very nice counterpoint to the horizontal and longitudinal lines of the brick and cobbles.

Excellent Rob. I can see the square crop working as well as what is there now, which does work.Like the oddness of the door up the steps being higher than the workshop doors in the first .

Yes, I like those steps too, Julian. I like quirky buildings. Mind you, we were talking in another thread about expensive properties along the riverside...these garages (formerly stables) with house attached, in the Edinburgh New Town, cost over a million quid. Unbelievable. I'm trying to resist saying they are full of English people who made a pile of dosh in London during the 80s and 90s, but it's true! They moved in and the prices rocketed. Bentley specialist

Cornwall is the same Rob. No youngster born in the coastal vilages can live there anymore. Mots of the coastal villages are empty for most of the year, holiday homes,no local imput, or contribution of any kind, for some strange reason barely pay any council tax. Yet when they all arrive for the jolly summer haunts, play lord of the manner.

So, it's Independence for Scotland and Cornwall
If only it would be that simply Rob. You have Trump, we have our version, they are in todays world the ones who will decide what is what. Sadley the idea of independence is attractive but what does it mean really? probably just a change of masters.
