Developed a couple rolls of color I had been procrastinating on.

Both rolls shot with my Contax RX w/ Zeiss 50mmF1.4

Very nice, Paul. What caught my eye most was the baroque guitar, which I play myself. Do you know who made it?

Here’s me playing one sixteen years ago:

I don't remember exactly.

Great playing Rob! I am fortunate enough to be reasonably mediocre/good at nearly everything I try to do - no matter what it is. The glaring exception to that is music. The family on my mother's side of things is overflowing with extremely talented musicians as my grandmother was a masterful guitar and piano player (she used to play with many famous people in the 50s) and I have fond memories of her chewing tobacco and playing her guitar on the porch. One of my uncles is an amazing guitarist, and my sister is an award winning flutist/pianist. However - despite my best efforts, I have zero musical talent whatsoever so people who can play/sing/etc I hold in a special regard/envy lol.

Apparently the Phoenix Music Instrument Museum is the only one like it in the world - as it features instruments from all over the world and is deceptively huge and well curated / upkept. I go there often for concerts (they have a wide variety of interesting artists perform from all over the world and the venue is really cozy/well ran.) I hadn't ever been to the museum till that visit. The guitar and violin in the pics were part of a special exhibit featuring Stradivarius and other famous makers. Some of the instruments in that section were not only very old (earliest was from the 1500s) but jaw-dropping in craftsmanship.

Here are some cell-phone pics of some of the stuff in that particular exhibit.

Very nice colours and fidelity, wicked sharp lens.
The grocer pictures have a nice lonely feel to them, well done.
I was quite impressed with the sharpness and rendition of that lens, as it is a new to me purchase. I feel like my collection of Contax-Zeiss lenses is about to get larger. I should have known though, as years ago I had a couple (24-70 & 16-35) for my Sony a900 and they were also fantastic.
