Another hand crafted rose, (work in progress) this rose made from copper will form part of an arrangement of copper and zinc flowers, each no bigger than 30mm across.

Incidentally a local shop has already shown interest, as always comments always welcome, I know it's not photog but I have had to take a photie to post it.

[marquee]X10 on macro, hand held f2.0 @ 1/10 ISO800[/marquee]

Using of course the 'Hamish G Marquee' :D

yeah copper definitely lends itself to the flower, fabulous

cheers both. must admit to liking the tactility of the copper and the end pattination after annealing and working.:)

Lovely work again, Kev!

(Something tells me this was shot on the X10 in macro mode,...hand held, I think,...wait,...getting another thought,...f2,...c'mon baby come to me come to me,...say 1/10th at,...uh,...what is it c'mon c'mon,...800 iso I think. Yeah,...that's what I'm feeling, 800 iso. Don't know why I'm getting such thoughts.)

Pete Thanks

They should stay pretty much as is, as they are hot waxed when complete, I'm not totally happy with this TBH, the edges need thinning, and it needs another layer or two, but given that it comes from waste materials it good.................:)
