All taken in the small town of Balchik, on the seashores of the Black Sea, Bulgaria. Once a minute fishermen village, it was noticed by Marie, Queen of Romania (born Princess Marie Alexandra Victoria of Edinburgh), during the "golden age" years between the wars. Developed to some extent and given a royal residence, it is now one of the places where tourists flock to get a feeling of this former royal residence, visiting the exquisitely built and maintained gardens, the Queen's small chateau, and the beautiful view of the Black Sea.
