Critique Welcomed A boy and a girl

Thank you Julian. These were taken some time ago and with a DSLR. I may go down that road again.
Yes I see that and with the plastic fantastic. Its a lovely lens for such a price. Mine fell on the floor and the focus wont work, I must get the screw drivers out and take a look.

Excuse me Julian, which lens are you referring to? Plastic?
Ah yes two different cameras. The second says it was taken with the Canon 50mm f1.8 , which is not the latest STM ( Stepping Motor) version if this is an old photo 2007? The earlier two versions of the canon 50mm f1.8 were known to many as the plastic fantastic, as they are primarily made of cheap plastic , yet preform extremely well. I loved mine and achieved many fine photos with it, but do prefer my f1.4 as it is slightly more robust.

The 1,4 is not slightly more robust, it is definitely more robust. The 1,8 was plastic all the way and two times I bumped into something with it, and it came apart spreading all over. I even taped the next one in order to keep it for a while, but even that one went to pieces.

Yes I have one here which fell to the floor and is bent. It can be manually focused, but mostly cussed as it is so stiff. That one I'll take apart some day to repair.
