With the news of April Jones i tried to find an image maybe would express the sadness,
i couldn't find any. Couple of years ago in a park i saw this child's toy left behind in the rain.

I love your work Ahmad - it's so thoughtful. I think you've summed up the emotion very well. The darkness of the wet bench contrasts well with the small, but colourful toy. I hope it was reunited with the owner.

I used to rescue old teddy bears and repair them in my spare time. We get a lot of moths indoors though, so the teddies had to be housed in a display cabinet. It's full now and I have no more time for repairs, but I still get a lot of pleasure having them around. What stories they might tell...

Thank you kindly Dave, Pete, Lesley, Julian.

It is difficult Pete. I find things which cause a child fragile heart to be hurt distressing.

Lesley i dont have any skills as you. I can imagine it must be wonderful to rescue teddybears and repair maybe to then give to a wide eyed child who may not have a teddybear, or to even reunite teddybear and child. Wouldn't that be something The Lost Teddybears Land.

Out on a walk across some fields one day i saw
