A Different Perspextive

Thanks, Pete. We went to a Bridget Riley exhibition - no cameras allowed - which really had our eyes seeing things that weren't there, mind boggling.

Wonderful image Rob. My first reaction was to think of Mondrian, which is a good thing as I like his work and roll within 20th century art. Never really understood Bridget Riley , I see the psychedelics, maybe that is all it is about, yet again she played a part in 20th century British art which is not to be dismissed. Knowing how hard it is to produce any decent worthy art in any form, it is surely a good idea to respect anyone's attempt.

Thanks, Julian. Yes, Mondrian, been a fan of his work for yonks. I see what you mean in regard to this image.

I don't think I enjoyed Riley's work, and there doesn't seem to be anything beyond the enjoyment factor in what we saw, no great insights into the human condition, for instance. But maybe that's asking too much of a pattern of straight lines...

Thanks, Dave. It's a little bit squint, so I might try to straighten it up a bit. Whether that will improve it remains to be seen.
