A Farmers Lot Is Never Done

Great stuff, Julian. We have The Highland Show annually in Edinburgh, which is HUGE, where farmers and farm machinery companies come to show off their wares. Should be any day now. However I won't be going, being an asthmatic - not a good place to be. Wish I could though.

Love the first, where the tents remind me of an upside-down udder...In the second, I don't want to know what the guy at the rear of the cow is doing! The third is great in b&w, but it really does look like the poor animal has been pumped from birth with drugs...

Thanks Rob, yes we have very large shows, I dont go as they are over commercial, what is nice about this one is the size, it is on a week day and therefore although busy, bearable.
I was shocked when I caught the Bull. A Belgium bull I believe. Just wish I'd taken my time and got a better shot.

That'll larn ye!

Jesus boots are considered non-de reguier for shows where a carpet of bovine excrement is not an optional extra!

Yes but wellies without socks and you end up taking pictures of blisters on your feet, a squelch is far more preferable and short term, not to mention a warming feeling
