In our village there is an annual 1st January "Loony Dook", where people get dressed up, march through the High Street, then immerse (dook) themselves in the Forth river. Some do it for charity, some for the hell of it. Big crowds turn out to laugh and applaud.
BUT..
With Covid, the event has been banned twice now. Still, yesterday I did catch three brave souls, moving tentatively into the river:
1.

We then went for a walk along the Back Braes to the surrounding farmland.
2.

3.

4.

5.

6.

Then finally back along the river, where I spied a photographer at work:
7.

Q2M with yellow filter on lens.
