Critique Welcomed A Kiropractor

Thanks Pete. This kiropractor is nicknamed Pallance because of the resemblance to Jack Pallance the American actor and this one is now more than eighty and is still going very good as they say down there.

Like this very much Ivar. It's an unusual image for us to see. I WENT to one of these lads some years back and it took me a month to recover.

LOL Same here Tom I left the room and sat on a chair waiting for a lift, which arrived and I could not get off the chair .

Superb Ivar and an unusual situation to photograph.

Thank you Tom and Julian. My experience is quite the opposite with this man. A wonderful, meek and humble man who has helped a lot of people. Even me after a football match ( an old man against some young ones ), when I really hurt my ankle and was not able to stand or put weight on that foot. I was sceptical and after oil and massage treatment still did not believe him when he said I could rise and walk. To my astonishment, there was no pain and I could walk as before. The next morning I was still sceptical till I put weight on it and there was no pain. As a footballer way back in younger days, I never experienced anyone who were able to do this as he. In other words, there are exceptions.

Ivar there are exceptions. Because of the amount of swimming training she does, I take my daughter to someone who uses the Bowen technique , She comes away feeling wonderful. As in any trade there are those who really aught not to being what they do, it is possible I bumped into such a character.

It wasn't my intention to correct anyone Julian ( and you do not imply that either ), but honestly this guy is famous in his area, but he has the intelligence to tell what he cannot master. One man I have great admiration for and not because of his healing abillity.

Interesting Julian. There are also practitioners of the Bowen technique who practice on animals and very successfully so, avoiding costly, ill advised, unnecessary and often unsuccessful surgery by the vet. I had a friend who did it and it does not amount to much more than TLC in the right places.
Does your daughter find it successful?

Yes she does very much so. Although at Loughborough Uni now swimming , we do pay him a visit when she is at home. It is more for prevention now. It can be painful when the knots are released I am told , she then falls asleep in the car all the way home feeling so relaxed. I myself have found acupuncture very useful , probably the best thing other than fasting, which I did the longest stint for 23 days, just water. It was quite an experience. Acupressure is a great one that I do respond to as well, which of course can be self inflicted , therefore very kind on the wallet.
