The view before the play begins. The land mass is the Palos Verdes Peninsula. The seasonal, thick and very cold August fog is rolling in and beneath the clouds the Pacific.

Pt. Fermin Park is in the Los Angeles neighborhood of San Pedro. The park is on top of 100' cliffs and at the bottom of the cliffs is the Pacific Ocean. About 40 feet from the cliff's edge is a small-ish amphitheater. This amphitheater is home to Shakespeare By the Sea.
