A Night At The Crucible

All good shots. I particularly like the last two. The next to last is my favorite. There is something about it that moves me.

Thanks. It was a good night out. Brian, I was thinking of your dance images, but I didn't want to distract anyone by taking foties during the performance. I wish had, though, at least one.

I'm glad you resisted, Rob, even though I'd like to have seen one.

Superb set though and the juxtaposition of the perfect vs wobbly works so very well. And the moon / building, again with a new old juxtaposition works well both as a stand-alone and a prelude of what is to come - calm before the storm. I also like the first shot of the sage and that slight movement blur adds more than it detracts I find.

Thanks, Pete. If I had taken a shot during the performance, I couldn't have been half as distracting as the guy two seats along, with his crinkly sweets bag. At the interval I suggested he take all the sweets out of the bag and unwrap them before the second half. To my surprise, he did :) I was a bit shocked at how people are treating theatres the way they ruined cinemas - coming in armed with super-sized fizzy drinks, cakes, sweets, and let me tell you, they are not the slimmest people in the theatre. It's the theatres who sell them the stuff, as they desperately need the money. Quite sad.

I love the 4th one (the first vertical), Rob. The top being in almost total shadow makes the shot due to the unbalanced feel of the image.
