Fabulous stuff, Brian - I've missed your shots and am so pleased you have returned. Love all the radiating lines in the image. I guess the apparent lineation of the plants is due to their distribution in the arid soil.

Thanks a lot, Pete. I really appreciate that. About the plant distribution: totally random I guess,...at least insofar as a gardener would be concerned. However, Mother Nature has her own methods of distribution which, though mysterious to me, I believe to be far from random.
Many plant in arid regions show a uniform distribution pattern as they compete for water and so end up regularly spaced. This can then result in apparently linear paths when viewed at the right angle.
