Critique Welcomed A Solar Boiler

This is one of the three solar boilers at the Ivanpah Solar Power Plant in the Mojave Desert of California.

Sigma Quatro SD.

That is a fine landscape. The contrast between the colours of the foreground and the blues of the distant mountains and sky gives it a real depth and sense of scale.

Lots more from this shoot if you click on it. Braw stuff, Brian. I like the lead-in from the telegraph wires on the far left. That Sigma is a killer.:)

Fabulous stuff, Brian - I've missed your shots and am so pleased you have returned. Love all the radiating lines in the image. I guess the apparent lineation of the plants is due to their distribution in the arid soil.
Thanks a lot, Pete. I really appreciate that. About the plant distribution: totally random I guess,...at least insofar as a gardener would be concerned. However, Mother Nature has her own methods of distribution which, though mysterious to me, I believe to be far from random.
