A Still Life of Questions

Sometimes, photographs capture glimpses of lives that raise more questions than answers.

Inventory
- A pair of perforated white women’s shoes, neatly aligned.
- A pocket-sized copy of The Book of Life (New Arabic Version).
- A pair of tortoiseshell glasses.
- A stick of mascara.
- A cigar stub.

All of these items are carefully arranged on the dusty windowsill of a ground-floor house with leaded glass windows, nestled along a narrow alleyway in Regensburg, Germany.
