It's the Inner Sound from Applecross again, I'm afraid.

Canon F1 and Fuji Neopan 400.

As Beth says Brian the framing is spot on and I am a sucker for boats. I can just imagine being there whipping the fly back and forth, keeping an eye out for the bailiff.

Thanks a lot, Julian. (I guess that's fishing lingo you're using,..."Fly", "bailiff", etc. In truth I don't recall seeing any flys or bailiffs. Lots of midgies, though. They're like clouds of microscopic pirhana up there!)

A masterclass, no less, Brian, in composition and framing. Beautiful.
Thank you, Rob. Much appreciated.

That has a nice hazy summer look to it (or was that 'cos it was shot through a curtain of midges - diptera by the way and therefore flies! ;) ). And, as has been said, a wonderful composition.
Pete, I'm convinced midgies are microscopic man-eating flying fish. They are most certainly not flies. It would be good if the scientific folk could correct this mistake.;) Thanks for the comments, Pete.

Brian, I'm amazed! I've been doing a spot of research on this (as I have an interest in the Diptera from my youth), and you a are quite right! The North Western Highland Piranha Midge (Culicoides serrasalmii subsp caledoniae) is indeed a two-species chimera. Incredible but seemingly true. Apparently they can also be harvested by net and eaten like Whitebait but you need quite a few to make a decent meal. :)

Thanks for sorting that, Pete. Anybody who's spent any time in a cloud of highland midgies could have deduced their proper species. As for dinner,...turn around is fair play; let's all eat the wee buggers! ;)

So easily be Japan.
Aaaand for doing it on film ... as AliG would say RESTPEC :D

( i couldnt photograph this way on film slrs to save my life).

I think I see what you mean, Ahmad. For me that tree that frames the top of the image gives a far eastern look.

Thanks for Da Ali G invocation! lol.
