That is:

1. Below the National Gallery of Art
2. The Scott Monument (Walter Scott, that is)
3. A piper warming up
4. The Balmoral Hotel...the clock is always 5 minutes fast - it is positioned just above Waverley train station, and the time is designed to hurry you up. I believe many station clocks used to be a few minutes late, for this reason.
