Folks,
Just a quick update to let you know that I am still in the land of the living...
This grand-parenting malarkey seems to have replaced the full time employment I was in until my recent retirement...so any thoughts of spending my time just taking photographs has gone "oot the windae"...at least for the time being...
Also, I kinda lost my "mojo" when I had to "retire" my beloved Jupiter 135mm when it inexplicably lost its ability to focus to infinity...
I picked up a couple of others off Fleabay, but the build quality was appalling ..I suppose that was Soviet engineering though, a bit hit and miss...
Anyway, I've just taken delivery of a brand spanking new (read 2nd hand) Canon 200mm lens with a bonnie red ring round it. A bitty longer, but I'm sure I'll master it...
Not quite ready to give up the SLR in favour of a wee camera yet...
