Along the Danube.

ShoesIf one would take a stroll along the Danube in Budapest (on the Pesti bank), one will notice the memorial of the "Shoes" as they call it. It commemorates the killing of 3500 Jews in 1944 by the fascists. Very troubling sight, and one approaches it with sorrow and respect.
