Olympus XA and Arista Premium 400 film. Processed in Rodinal. (Don't know what caused the light patches along the top.)

Kurb Crawling Brian? t'is an offence in some parts I hear..:D

I do really like these low down shots, they give a whole new perspective on the landscape I think, a somewhat surreal look not too far from a tiilt-shift type toy world, something we rarely see unless Like Brian we are forced to using the groundpod again :D

I do like a nice low shot! the light patches look like the sprocket holes

Thats what I thought too...
Dunno how or why they would be anything to do with them though ... ?

I was reading a review, oddly of the xa4 the other day... The chap had obviously got a thing for shots like this ..

I guess "asphalt crawling" would be more correct! ;)

Thanks, Kev.

Thanks, Vic. You are absolutely correct; those patches are representations of the sprocket holes. Some of the frames on this roll showed them very clearly.

I dunno either, Hamish. Pate may be right that it may be a mixing issue related to the flow of chemistry through the holes.

The XA4 is quite rare. And correspondingly relatively expensive. Wider angle lens though and I believe a macro feature.

I've never seen an oil drum from that angle before. Thanks Brian!

Oh, and nice shot too! :)

I guess it might be a mixing issue related to the flow of chemistry through the holes. I assume there was no overlap / mis-loading of the spiral.

Could be, Pete. The reel loaded up no problem though, and there were no psychedelically distorted and chemistry-blocked frames. And thanks, by the way.
