Another Tragic Day In Boston

Just a few weeks from the anniversary of the marathon bombing Boston experienced another tragic event. A building on one of the oldest and most affluent streets was destroyed by a wind sweep super heated fire. Two firefighters who rushed into the basement to contain the blaze while others were assisting the occupants out from the upper floors died when they got trapped. One of my wife's nursing students was one of the those rescued. The funerals were today...and as I watched...I was inspired by the brotherhood and support that these men and women have for each other. Tens of thousands of firefighters from all over came to pay respects...an amazing sight

Fire fighters the world over feel for every firefighter lost Glenn, it is truely a brotherhood frontiers cannot separate. And its one that contunues long after one has left the service

That's the inspirational part for me Kev. Having spent most my life in and around the military...the brotherhood is fully understood.

Always in my thoughts and prayers Glenn.

And having spent a wonderful time as an Exchange Officer with the US Army I was saddened to hear of the tragedy at Fort Hood.
