Aston Martin - suggestions needed

There was a small gathering of Aston MArtin owners and their cars in Bristol on Sunday, so I went down to take a few pictures.
The weather varied from slightly overcast to bright sunlight and I couldn't always get the ideal viewpoint especially with everyone else around.

Anyway...
This is the first of the shots I've played with and I'm not sure whether it works at all or if there is anything else I could have done/done better.
The shot has been edited to remove some of the distractions around the car, and I've blurred the backgrounf to lift the main subject.

This is the orginal file (jpeg version of the original RAW)

Feel free to play and tell me whether this is any good or a non-starter before I try editing the rest.

This is quite a difficult one to play with. I could spend hours on this! lol

the only thing is I think is that if you are going to remove people etc from backgrounds you need to pay attention to the reflections, editing BG with cars/shiny surfaces in can be a nightmare, sometimes best to just go with what you have. AS DD says you could spend hours on these sort of edits..

The edit has the guy in the window in your edited version..

Nice otherwise Adrian

I'd agree with these 2 , the 50's car I done took hours to remove refections from panels etc ... I thin i prefer the unblurred original but with the people removed

Sorry to intrude on your thread Ade,
just a quick example of an edit that took me a while.

This took me longer than I wanted, and thanks to the RPF members they helped my with it a fair bit

And then someone told me about the reflection of the guys head in the windscreen that I didn't see although I'd been gorking at the photo for hours!!! :D:D:D

I tend to agree with Davie's point of view. The car is a little too blurred at the rear for me and the blurred people are a distraction as well. I like the people removed though. If was shooting this vehicle and really wanted a shot of it I'd go crazy waiting around until there were as few people in the FOV as possible. Could spend all day though and still not get the shot.

Thanks for the comments...

Unfortunately I was never going to get a clear shot of these cars, there were just too many people and the cars were too well polished, as well...:)

I had a feeling it was going to be a long task.
I will probably start again and redo the background. I did have a play with replacing it completely, but I need to find something suitable.

The biggest problem I can see is trying to deal with the reflections in the door panel...
