Avro Lancaster

A couple of digitised shots of the Avro Lancaster that is at home at the old airfield of RAF East Kirkby in Lincolnshire. My main passion for photography are the old disused airfields that litter Lincolnshire carrying with them the souls of so many that never made it back. I often raise a whisky to them including my own uncle James who was killed whilst training pilots from Brough in Yorkshire.

Aaron, thank you so much for your comment. I try to not copy the usual wide angle shots of aircraft even though they do often suit that kind of framing.

A fine sentient and a cracking pair of shots. And I like the treatment - it works well with the subject I think.
