Before and Now

This is the same photograph. The first way is from a scan made by the developer, I can't remember which company. The second was scanned by me with the Epson V550. Both images have a bit of post production, Elements and Lightroom, but the later had more information to work with. I like the sky in the first, the columns in the second. C'est la vie!

I like the stonework in the 2nd one also. The left column and the lintel are blown out in the first.

I prefer the second too. The angle gives an imposing feel to the structure. Good one.

Me too, and the banding is less conspicuous. I'm sure you could get the best of both with some control points in Silver EFEX.
