I was expecting Hells Angels but this is even better. Loving the rise and dips in the road. What are the poles each side of the road for?
Long lens?

Thems snow poles, Tom. We have them in the Highlands here too. Sometimes the snow is so deep you can't see the road.

Thank you Gentlemen. Rob you'll have to excuse Tom, being presently a Londoner and not accustomed to the highlands. But Yes Tom, Rob is not pulling your leg. There are snowdrifts sometimes up to three and four meters high. The altitude here is approximately 1800 meter above sea level.

Excellent shot Ivar, I also was expecting at least one Harley and bandanna with long beards poking out. The road looks stitched by a sowing machine. What a great road to cycle on, down, that is.
