What is the statue called? From your photo it seems to be something vary sad; two people sharing their despair.

Hi Paul. It's called Rockform (Porthcurne). That's all I know...

Now there's a brilliant way to break with convention and merge the main subject into the background. It works beautifully and really makes you look at the statue. Nice.

Exactly, Pete. Thanks. It would be more normal, I suppose, to try to make the statue pop out. But I felt the artist was trying to place the figure(s) within the environment to such a degree that they become one with it. This particular installation is hidden behind trees and bushes, off the tarmacked path, as if it (or they) wants not to be noticed.
