I apologize in advance for not being around here much the past few weeks, but we were getting ready to pull our Airstream travel trailer up to it's summer destination in the Blue Ridge mountains in southwest Virginia.

These are some IR images (via a Hoya 720nm filter) with my Fuji's around the property where we stay on and off in the summer. It is a 76 acre spot on top of a mountain co-operatively owned and run by 46 stockholders (me included) near Floyd, Virginia.

Thanks, guys.

All very good indeed. Very effective.
If I was to pick one out I think I would go for the second; just love how some of the clouds look as though they have parachuted down into the trees.

Yeah, agreed with others, these are very nice! There is a lot of in interesting IR photography out there, but these do better!

Facinating images, the second one could almost be a huge castle made of trees. Very good set.

All together now:
"In the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, on the trail of the lonesome pine"
Guess I am going to have that song in my head for the rest of the day.... :)
