Bodmin Moor Horses

Bump from Dec 2013 ;)

I quite liked the B+W, some of the first images taken with the DP3 Merrill. although a bit of a creepy place on Bodmin moor.

Don't know how these slipped by us! A hungry bunch, aren't they? The colour version doesn't say much to me, to be honest, Julian, but the B&W is a different story. I like how the chimney is just off centre, and also not on the line of thirds - I get tired of that. Here it is perfectly placed. The toning in the closest horse is superb.

Thanks Rob, fully agree about the colour one, yet can see why this passed by as neither is kind of saying much, but I did at the time like the B+W qualities if nothing else and most probably one of th first B+W's from those Merrill camera's. You aught to try one Rob ;)

Love the horses Julian but I wonder why you call them wild? Are there wild horses in UK or are they seemingly wild to you? as well as being in a "creepy" place. Nothing creepy about the horses though., two fine images whereas the first also appeals to me, as in colourful.:D

Colourful? Bah . Yes wild as in they are left to roam the moor. But yes I am sure they have an owner so maybe, half wild.
