He’s a fast mover! Seriously, though, I love studio shots of artists and artisans, and this is a particularly good one. Bookbinding is a real mixture of art and craft, and I get the feeling this man is a Master. Good shot, Julian!

Thank you, Rob; pity the old crafts are disappearing. My pen repair shop is the only one left in the country. When I decide to turn off the lights, that is it. So, yeah, I could be an example in my own project

I love the idea of such a project, @Julian Tanase. Maybe 30-40 years ago, a photographer friend of mine photographed the old historic shops in my town. This resulted in a book (which I keep with love), various exhibitions, etc. Most of those shops, as you can imagine, no longer exist today.

A pen repair shop deals with repairs and restorations of fountain pens, old or new.
