We were up at UCLA a couple of weeks ago to visit my daughter who is studying there. We walked around campus and she pointed out the Bruin Plate Dining Hall, which is quite new.

Canon F1 with FD17mm (ex-Glenn Clabo) and Ilford HP5 Plus that I processed in Rodinal.

I might be out on a limb here but I would prefer this shot without the guy in the foreground. He also interferes with the grid being formed by the shadows and the paving shapes. I agree that the reflections/shadows could be made a little harder and then this potentially wonderful grid would be adequate and make for a far more interesting foreground interest that is totally building related.. My tuppence worth.

Thanks, Tom. I appreciate your comments very much. (More to think about!:))
