and if you want taps or parts for a sewing machine, that's up the road. In many areas in Athens the shops tend to be clustered by item so you end up with a motorcycle street, a tools street, a garden machines street etc. All very convenient!

I like how the pots are framed by the flowers in that first one, Pete. Niether shot says "Athens" to me, which is a cool way to present images of faraway places. (The Parthenon is so yesterday my dear.)

A lot of places that I have been to the shops are clustered by what they sell an din some cities the different clusters are not in the same area, often quite some distance apart. Love the bucket shot especially.
