Can You Hear Me Now...?

I think finding a right-angle at the Walt Disney Concert Hall must be very difficult indeed! It swoops and soars and dips and bends,...but there's nary a 90 degree corner to be found.

I took this shot last March with my Canon F1 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, California.

Super shot Brian. I remember some (one?) of the others you took of this building and posted a while back. I love the contrast of the curves of this building with the straightness of the buildings beyond (and the reflections in them). I guess it kind of echos the playfulness of Disney contrasted with the seriousness of the corporate world (an illusion I'm sure). I also like the minimalist palette here. The only other (muted) colours are the boards on the street lamps and the blue of the wind-cheater. And it is, of course, that figure, huddled against the wind and traffic noise to make their call, that makes the whole thing come together. Excellent.

Thanks very much Pete. I'm of the opinion that, much like the Getty Center, its hard to take a bad fotie of the Disney Concert Hall. Anyway, comments much appreciated.

i think it was Chris...
It was quite similar to this ...

I like this!
Its funny what a tiny part of a shot in the form of a chap on the phone can add to a photo!

I shot a few of the Disney Concert Hall a while back, Hamish. Not sure if I posted any though.

Anyway, thank you for the comments.
