Critique Welcomed Carrick-on-Rede

It's the horizon that makes this image for me; that dark band in the sea. For some reason I find its contrast with the sky very compelling.

I like this vey much too and also find one of the most appealing aspects is the confusion created over scale and the fact that the island floats in an apparent void. Very effective. The blue tones work very well also I think and Brian and Julian are right about the horizon and grasses though. They hold the image together.

I think Douglas has to look in the opposite direction over the sea and he, would probably see the same kind of skies occasionally.:D But I also like the image and what most people here have said, but the forefront reminds me more of the fine dust of snow on an early winter morning. Albeit I think it's noon time here. Correct me if I'm wrong. A fine image indeed. ( I can't help it, but why is it so important to find out what camera it is done with Brian. I am sure it hasn't got horns.):D

It's not important Ivar; I just find such information interesting.

A Norwegian camera? Does such a thing exist?. :)
Yes you none horned Scotsman. My camera is all Norwegian with a see-through horn in the middle. It also has the ability of expansion at times.:D I never thought I'd say this, but it was merely a mocking of Brian. I too like to know in the hope that it's similar to my stuff, if it's good:rolleyes:
