Sinister indeed - the local secondary school...
I like the way the fence has caught the leaves from the nearby tree, which seems to be reaching out to get them back.

I was about to say that must be a school, but it looks like a prison. And prisons schools appeared to be for some back then. A fine and powerful image.

Same thing to me. Hated every single moment at school. Catholic nuns with psychotic tendencies, corporal punishment frequently. Ran away frequently. Fun times

Wonderful. I immediately thought of birds. It is like Swallows at the end of summer on the phone wires. The leaves are gathering ready to make their winter voyage.
